Supposedly a recipe picked up from a crazed adventurer who claims he had seen bunny rabbits on the moon through a telescope (a claim that is highly contested as most likely being a vieran dragoon). This chug-jug-sized drink consists of an entire giant carrot mashed and then blended down with spring water, ground iceberg lettuce leaves, and a dash of peppermint which give it an almost addicting kick.
This sweet, creamy beverage is a darling favorite of our resident Xaela. A Steppe clan recipe handed down through countless generations mixed with Eorzean ingredients, this drink puts a local spin on the well-adored drink of the Azim tribes. Tea leaves flown from Kugane all the way to Gridania form the base, served with a generous helping of home-harvested Steppe milk to give the drink its creamy, thick texture. The addition of roasted Gridanian dark chestnuts gives it an incredibly sweet flavour.

Bio: Luna was found comatose in a moonlit opening in the woods of the central shroud with no recollection of who she was. She brought to Gridania for healing and was eventually given the name Luna Solas which translates into moonlight in reference to the moonlit opening she was found in. Luna has yet to figure out who she was but is okay with this and embraces her new life. She was welcomed into a loving FC and even became eternally bonded with FC companion Dante Kane

Bio: Dante Solas was born in the Azim Steppe as a half-breed to Garlean and Xaela’n parents and moved to Ishgard with their father just prior to the Garlean invasion of Doma. Brought into the folds of the knight’s Dragoons from a young age, it was there they met the future love of their life, Luna Solas after a chance fall off of a spire during the closing days of the dragonsong war. Now married to his darling wife and under the influence of her potions, Dante now spends “her” time adventuring the vast lands of Eorzea with her beloved as well as being the talented maid-chef of the Moon’s Embrace Cafe

Bio: Precious little is known of this feisty Miqo’te, and it’s tempting to suspect she likes it that way. Her lack of pigmentation of fur gives off a waft of aether overload and it’s hard to imagine what she might have been through before she wound up at The Clearing. There’s a softer side to her when dealing with loved ones and those in need, a compulsion to protect and understand, though this most prominently shows in her work at the Moon’s Embrace. When occasionally working the floors at the Deep Woods, the gloves are off and this otherwise Sun Seeking creature surrenders to the intoxication of pulsing music and winding bodies in the dark.

Bio: Ahzi is a Seeker of the Sun from the L’ tribe of the Thanalan scrublands, although in his teenage years he left in order to train as a conjurer and chirurgeon and nurture his latent talent. Since the Calamity, though, he’s left the blood and dust of the battlefield behind, instead choosing to put his healing arts towards smaller, but no less painful hurts. Ahzi is quiet, gentle, and a good listener (although easily embarassed!), and seeing that guests leave feeling lighter in body and spirit than when they arrive is his absolute priority.
